 We all know automobile accidents are inevitable. The streets this day are packed with so many drivers it’s not funny. The chance of having an auto happening are very high. Nobody is a perfect driver, this in mind and all the automobiles on the road sooner or later it will happen. There are so many things that can contribute to you having an auto accident, an animal that runs out in front of you, kids playing, and yes the all well to known, the crazy driver. Now what i’ m going to do for you here now is list a few steps that could decrease your chances of having an happening by 50%.I have been driving for 40 years and have been in 3 automobile accidents. One of which i was driving.

keeping your eyes on the other drive, a must have!

Step 1

The first thing we do is when getting in our car, do what I call a swift pre-flight check on everything. Check your brakes, once in a while check your cut lights. Anything to insure your automobile is innocuous to drive, We all know there are people out there who drive junkers.

Step 2

When I a’ m driving I always look out for the other guy, because you are not the only one that can cause an accident. When coming to an intersection, slow down ,stop, and make sure nothing is coming from any direction, some one could come barrelling out of nowhere, happens all the time. When it is clear, proceed.

Step 3

When driving around with people in the car, music on, etc. You can enjoy the conversation but keep your mind focused on the road. Do not let the people, conversation, or the music distract you, keep your eye on the road.

Step 4

The last and most important to me is “STAY OFF THE CELL PHONE”! This is cause for a huge part of all accidents and death to drivers, particularly the younger ones. No texting, talking, if you have to speak then just pull over for a minute!
